Mawj Skirt

Dreaming of my home-country’s sea in diaspora, the drop-waist appliqué talk about a Mushtaq (someone longing). Just like the waves, were falling & rising layers dance to an endless rhythm. Mawj, meaning waves in Arabic. Each wave was cut and fringed by hand to highlight the sea crystals. Crafted from Blue Inky Denim.
